Up till now the latest smartphones from blackberry namely BlackBerry Curve 9380 and BlackBerry Bold 9780, runs on the BlackBerry Operating system BlackBerry OS 7. The new platform is seems to very astonishing as it raise the platform for blackberry phones to the next level.
Research In Motion (RIM) has renamed its Operating System Platform from BBX to Blackberry 10. It is the latest platform for the next generation on which the upcoming smartphone from BlackBerry.
Unable to use the BBX name anymore, RIM was forced to choose a different one and so at the BlackBerry DevCon Asia, RIM announced that the platform will now be called BlackBerry 10, which, actually, is nothing more than the full form of the original name B(lack)B(erry)X(10).
This handset is apparently code-named London, and is due for a June 2012 release date. While it’s not suffering in the looks department, there’s a lot of good stuff going on under the hood too.
